Texas Institute of Orthopedic Surgery And Sports Medicine teams up with CSA. On February 5th, 2011, Dr Khubchandani spoke at the coaches meeting to provide basic education in medical care including fracture and injury splinting techniques. TiOS also provided all of the coaches with athletic duffel bags containing critical splinting and first aid supplies which the coaches keep on the sidelines for the immediate care of the injured athlete. Dr Khubchandani added: “We are proud to team up with CSA to care for the participating athletes by providing education and immediate access to a high level of medical and orthopedic care”.

On August 6th 2011, a referee development clinic will be held at the Grapevine Community Center (9:00 – 12:00). As many as 50 – 60 referees from Grapevine, Southlake, Keller, Trophy Club, Hurst and Bedford will participate. The game is scheduled for February 4, 2011 at the Carroll Senior High School, game times are 6:00 p.m. for the Varsity Lady Dragons and 7:30 p.m. for the Varsity Men’s Dragons. TiOS staff and physicians will be wearing pink to cheer on the Dragons as we all help to battle cancer.
